At COHLLECTOR LLC, we're dedicated to making advanced AI capabilities accessible to developers of all levels. NEUROFANG was created to address the challenges of working with large codebases using local LLMs, without requiring expensive hardware or complex setups.
Our mission is to democratize AI-assisted development by providing tools that run efficiently on consumer-grade hardware while delivering professional-grade results.
What We Do
NEUROFANG enhances AI LLM's ability to interact with large codebases by addressing two primary challenges:
- Limited structural understanding of code by local models
- Constraints imposed by token limits when analyzing large codebases
Our custom regex-based parser reliably identifies function and class definitions, laying the foundation for a suite of AI-powered tools including codebase indexing, semantic search, summarization, linting, refactoring, and chain-of-thought analysis.

NEUROFANG is designed with these core principles in mind:
- Accessibility: Optimized for smaller GPUs with lower amounts of VRAM (as little as 6GB)
- Simplicity: Elimination of complex dependencies for easier setup and use
